The brief to Leuschke Group Ltd Architects for the design of the Key house was specific.
Timeless and substantial. A home of permanence and tradition in both materials and imagery was to be created. The house, when completed, was to be seen as "having always been there."
A New World house, comfortable in the better suburbs of Sydney, Melbourne or New York. Design references were taken from Toorak, Double Bay and Long Island.
Concrete construction and traditional detailing, assemble to create a specific imagery reflecting the owners brief. The house sits comfortably amongst its substantial neighbours in Aucklands well established suburb of Parnell. Leuschke Group Ltd Registered architects, Auckland, New Zealand |
