blenheim house
This substantial house in Blenheim's wine district is located beneath the Wither Hills and overlooks the flat alluvial planes, heavily planted in orchards and vineyards. The building enjoys generous proportions and is largely clad in local stone. Giving a feeling of permanence, the use of stone in no way limits the feeling of modern, open design. The stone is traditional and grounds the building. The framed timber roofs soar above, creating stunning design suitable to its environment.
